Experienced Financial Aid Director Nicolas Morton

Based in Brooklyn, Nicolas Morton spent more than five years at the Packer Collegiate School as the associate director of admissions and financial aid. His duties in this position involved reviewing 1099, K-1, W-2, and other tax forms while evaluating students for financial need. He collaborated with the school’s athletics program as part of student recruitment efforts. Nicolas Morton also engaged with various schools and education agencies throughout New York City.

Mr. Morton managed an operating budget of more than $11 million during his time at Packer, which involved awarding financial support to more than 50 incoming students and upwards of 300 returning students each year. His tenure coincided with a 21 percent increase in underrepresented-student enrollment and a 15 percent increase in overall enrollment. His past positions include associate of financial management at KPMG in New York and associate in the corporate audit department at New York Life.

Nicolas Morton studied business administration at Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania, earninf a BA. In addition to his studies, he was a residential life advisor and a member of the new-student orientation team. His charitable pursuits include the Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the All Souls Soup Kitchen, and the Hoboken (New Jersey) Homeless Shelter. In his free time, he enjoys travel and cooking, and has completed the New York Marathon.
